Jose Pineiro of Miami is Experienced in Software Development

Jose Pineiro, a resident of Miami, is experienced in software development and implementations. He began his professional journey in 1988 when he joined Apollo Ship Chandlers, and gained expertise in database design, software development technologies, and system analysis through the years. The Apollo Group is a privately owned company that is engaged in providing cruise & hotel related services to leading cruise lines such as Thomson, NCL, Regent, and Oceania. Their services include housekeeping, warehousing logistics, and marine staffing. The Apollo companies with which Jose is working currently are Apollo ShipChandlers, Europe USA Travel, and Apollo Global Catering.



He has in-depth knowledge of different software development techniques and Microsoft & web technologies tailored for the cruise industry. His proficiencies include windows servers 2000-2012, exchange server, windows desk OS, office access, power point, excel, word, outlook, visual studio 2003-2012, VB.net, C#, HTML, DHTML, XML, ASP, Java script, J query, VB scripts, CSS, SQL server 2000-2012, FoxPro, RPG and COBOL.

Jose Pineiro of Miami is a bachelor degree holder in computer science. In 1984, he started teaching at Garces College, and worked there for three years, i.e. till 1987. After that, he joined the Apollo Group as software professional, and made good command over various software development areas such as system analysis, development technologies, and project management. He worked with almost all Apollo companies, and has given a great contribution in their growth and success.

In 2000, Jose Pineiro of Miami was promoted to IT Manager, and given the responsibility to develop and implement a new HR system. By the end of 2004, the system was implemented, and it helped in improving productivity and saving lots of money on labor, travel management, etc. Then, he was made the Director of Information & Technology, and was involved in software application development and maintenance operations.
