Jose Pineiro of Miami is a dedicated software developer, serving Apollo Group since 25 years. He holds a Bachelor degree in Computer Science. He has extensive knowledge of Microsoft operating system and office tools such as Windows Servers 2000-2012, Exchange Server, Windows Desk OS. Office Access, Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio and Project, mobile and cloud based devices and applications.
He joined Apollo Ship Chandlers, Inc. “The Apollo Group” in 1988. He worked as a Software Developer and handled the responsibility of developing a new requisition system for cruise ships. Later in 2000, after completing the requisitions project and the year 2000 “y2k” conversion, he was promoted to the designation of IT Manager. While working with the organization he earned a comprehensive knowledge in system analysis, software development technologies, database designs and project management.
Currently Jose Pineiro of Miami is working as The Director of Information & Technology for all Apollo related companies. He is responsible for the development and maintenance of the various software applications, including Order Processing and the HR system. The Apollo seems to be a small dynamic operation but is complex in terms of logistics and this was a key position to streamline processes and improve efficiencies. Through years of hard work and dedication, he attained experience in utilizing technology solutions to improve corporate efficiencies. He also worked towards the growth and success of the organization by leading and managing all technology initiatives for all Apollo related companies.
In addition to his professional life, Jose Pineiro of Miami is a fun loving person. In his leisure time he likes to go for boating, fishing, scuba diving and jogging. Besides outdoor activities, he also likes to read books related to technology as they provide him the information about the latest technologies and advancements in the industry.
