Jose Pineiro is a skilled software developer with 25 years of experience in the industry. He completed Bachelor in Computer Science in 1988. He holds expertise in Microsoft operating system and office tools such as Windows Servers 2000-2012, Exchange Server, Windows Desk OS. Office Access, Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio and Project, mobile and cloud based devices and applications. In addition. he has extensive knowledge of Microsoft software development technologies for web and windows: Visual Studio 2003-2012, VB.Net, C#, XML, HTML, DHTML, ASP, Java script, J Query, VB Scripts, CSS, SQL Server 2000-2012, FoxPro, RPG and COBOL.

In 1988, Jose Pineiro joined “The Apollo Group” which is a privately owned company that offers cruise and hotel related services like, housekeeping, marine staffing, warehousing logistics, food and beverage services; and travel fares to major cruise lines such as Oceania, Regent, Thomson and NCL. While working with the organization he earned a comprehensive knowledge in system analysis, software development technologies, database designs and project management.

He joined The Apollo Group as a Software Developer and was responsible for developing a new requisition system for cruise ships. In December 2000, after finishing the requisition project and the year 2000 “y2k” conversion he was promoted as IT Manager. It was a challenging role as he had to implement new software technologies and lead a team of developers. In 2005, he was promoted as the Director of Information & Technology for all Apollo related companies. He was on the key position to streamline processes and improve efficiencies. Besides this, his duty was to develop and maintain the software applications, including, Order Processing and the HR system.

Jose Pineiro is dedicated to his profession and has contributed to the growth of the organization. Besides profession, he likes to read the books related to technology, as it gives him updated knowledge related to his field. He also holds interest in boating, fishing, scuba diving and jogging.
