A highly accomplished IT professional, Jose Pineiro is the Director at Apollo Ship Chandlers, Inc. 'The Apollo Group” in Miami. Apollo is a privately held company offering cruise and hotel related services such as food and beverage services, housekeeping, warehousing logistics, marine staffing and travel fares to major cruise lines such as Oceania, Regent, Thomson and NCL. Jose Pineiro of Miami joined Apollo in 1988 as a Software Developer where he developed a new requisition system for cruise ships. Thereafter, he has been promoted to IT manager after completing the requisitions project and 'Y2K' conversion. After promotion, he has been assigned to the development and implementation of a new HR system using a new technology. During his servings, he developed various skills which makes him a resourceful professional.
He has been serving the cruise and hotel industry for over 25 years and gained experience in all phases of software development, technology improvements and operational efficiencies. With all these years of hard work and dedication, he has acquired a great deal of experience in utilizing technology solutions to improve corporate efficiencies. In addition to this, he also contributed to the growth and success of the organization by leading and managing all technology initiatives for all Apollo related companies.
